Schools
Sanctuary students face multiple barriers to accessing schooling at every level. If you work at a secondary or post-secondary educational institution and would like to support the equitable inclusion of sanctuary students, we can help. We can offer workshops, as well as consultations around administrative, logistical and safety information.
Please note that we are currently running talks, workshops/ trainings and assessments/ audits without core funding. As such, we are offering these supports on a sliding scale, and are happy to negotiate something that works well for you and your organization. A unique aspect of our work is that we will tailor our approach specifically to the needs of your organization and students.
Leading up to a training, we will conduct a needs validation to help inform the design, and
ensure we are effectively and efficiently responding to the issues/challenges you want to address.
Moreover, we want to ensure that we are offering tools and practices that can be implemented within your specific culture, context and programs.
