In collaboration with Sheffield University, we’re launching the Access Welcome Program, an initiative that brings together young migrants from Ontario and South Yorkshire to create an interactive resource designed for universities. The goal is to help post-secondary institutions become more accessible, welcoming, and protective of students with precarious immigration status. By drawing on international research and lived experiences, this project aims to reimagine what sanctuary looks like in higher education, and to give schools the tools to implement real, meaningful change.
